I don't find Dark Souls to be dull at all. Sure you aren't going to get a cinematic story that's laid out in front of you but I find the lore to absolutely amazing and I can't get enough of it.

Sign up for PS+ since you get amazing deals. Would just need to buy Infamous 1 cuz 2 is downloadable for free.
Other than that maybe Uncharted 2. I havent played much exclusives for the PS3 so wouldnt know much bout games like MGS4 or the GOW series. If interested in GOW I saw a collection with all 5 games at Gamestop which looked like a great deal.

My old roommate had GOW3 and we beat it (but I agree, that game was fucking amazing). I believe Uncharted 1 & 2 and Infamous 1 & 2 came in my bundle, so that's good. I also bought AC3 so it looks like I'm on the right track.
edit @ Soupman - that GOW package sounds great. Will look into it. Thanks guys.
