Dragon Age: Origins is probably my favorite RPG on the PS3 if you can get past the fact it looks like it was made in 2006. Dragon Age II was shitty though.
Fallout 3 too.

WRPGs
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Dragon's Dogma
Skyrim
Dragon Age: Origins (if you can play it on PC, do that instead)
Fallout 3
I can't think of any more upcoming JRPGs, but I know there are some good ones being localized next year. Just buy a ton of PS1 games

New Vegas wasnt as bad as ppl make it out to be, I enjoyed Fallout 3 way more though. Still have the goty edition to finish. Lincoln Repeater makes me op 
not an rpg but Infamous is a great game u could try. If u do become a PS+ member InFamous 2 will be free for download.

I wouldn't get Skyrim for PS3 either. Kinda plays like shit after the file gets big enough and appearently its better on PC/XBox.
