Yeah Fusion was probably the hardest of the 2D Metroid games IMO. Maybe Metroid 2 was tougher but I don't really remember since its been like 10 years since i've played it.

I don't remember it being that bad, but maybe my memories of Zero Mission (which was easy) are clouding my judgement.

Zero Mission was laughable compared to the original.

Its cheap on Virtual Console I think.

2D Metriod games are awesome beat SM three times and beat Zero mission and Fusion. Also MP1>MP2>MP3.
