But is the big "holy fuck" really surprising? I mean, I haven't played it but is it...

Spoiler for Alan Wake ending:

Something doing with "Awake" or "Alan Wake...up" (not sure what it means). Alan is imagining everything as a way to cope with what he's done. What he's done tho...kill his wife? A little too Silent Hill-ish. If not, then please just say "lol, no dude" and I'll play it in a few months.
