Re: General Gaming Discussion
FPS Gaming on a PC is far more responsive and accurate. It's just a shame they all require supercomputers latley to run them.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
^ I agree with that. It's also sad that many games are poorly ported onto PCs (Rockstar games from 2008 onwards, for example). FPS games or generally first person games (Western RPGs, for instance) are far better played on the PC, but console controllers are better for racing, sports and 3rd person action games. I played shooters on consoles and while not terrible, it didn't feel quite right, it feels a lot more natural playing them with mouse and keyboard on the PC.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
FPS on the PC are far more accurate, I agree. It's just been very difficult for me as a console gamer to come over. It's a completely different set of muscles, for lack of a better word, that you have to train when playing PC games due to the controls and in BF you have to worry about bullet drop, rate of fire, recoil etc etc. I'm still trying to get the rate of fire thing down to shooting in more short, accurate bursts. I'm used to other FPS with no recoil and just blasting away, all my instincts tell me to do this and I end up missing completely or firing at the sky by the time the clip is empty. Old habits die hard. But again, I'm gutting it out.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
Thoughts on Sacred 2? I loved the first game when it came out, played it to fucking death offline and online (got to like, level 120 or something, and had awesome shoes that made me run faster than people on their mounts!). With Diablo III just coming out and being out of my price range, I decided to pick up Sacred 2 since I found it on ebay brand new for £3. Finally came this morning (took a fucking week, lazy ebay peoples! ), just installed it and played for about an hour. I've heard tons of bad things about it, but so far I'm enjoying it. Only negative thing so far is the camera, but I just noticed there are 2 other settings so I'll have to give them a try first.

Went back to BioShock 2. This game is extremely fucking hard.
Protecting the little sister while she harvests is a pain in the ass. I don't remember BioShock 1 being this hard.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
So with BioShock Infinite and a few other games pushed into 2013 (not sure about GTA V), what is there to look forward to at the end of the year game wise?

Dishonored, Hitman Absolution, Assassin's Creed 3, Borderlands 2, Warface, Call of Duty Black Ops 2. I'm mostly looking forward to the first two.
