Either way, give Witcher a few more hours of your time, and the game just suddenly gets interesting. Its also probably a good idea to start playing it on Dark Mode because you get more quests and combat is more enjoyable.

As for Fable 3, I enjoyed it far more than the first two, it just suffered from having no clear bad guy untill the last 5 minutes of the game.

well I ask because I was looking for a 'new Skyrim' to play. But I didn't want as much exploring, side quests, or a million items. I hear Fable 3 is a toned down (or dumbed down) version of that. So far Witcher 2 is not interesting, decent (at best) combat, and seems extremely overwhelming.

Witcher 2 is a toned down version of Skyrim as well, less spells, weapons, few side quests, semi open world(s), etc., but in terms of quality it surpasses Skyrim in every aspect. If you find Witcher 2 uninteresting, than I doubt you'll like Fable 3 any better. Plus, the combat in Fable 3 is piss poor, it ain't any better than the one in Witcher. I'm not sure how one could call Witcher 2 boring yet find Fable 3 good. Oh, well..

If you want to play a more linear RPG with less content, try Lord of the Rings: War in the North. It's pretty generic and all, but the character and weapon customization is good and the combat is pretty gory.

I haven't played Fable 3, but you're not the only one who has said that. It's just, so far, I'm playing through Witcher 2 (almost 10 hours) and am not enjoying it. But, I hear it's great, given time, plus I spent $60 so I want to enjoy it. However with Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter coming out tomorrow, it will be shelved. I hate just buying a game, playing a little, then giving, so I try super hard not to do so.

I kinda don't dig the controls in Witcher 2, but in truth i've barely played it so far.

I did, and thoroughly enjoyed that. That game wasn't hard, just tedious. I did fine, but then Skyrim came out. Maybe I'll play it again.

The controls are pretty nice for Witcher 2 (and Dark souls for that matter). If only the menu wasn't a bitch on console. It's a pain to navigate and load your character up.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Sniper Elite V2 (PS3)??? Would like some feedback before I buy.
One reviewer said he "took an instant dislike to it" and mentioned "the glamorisation of killing".

I don't want a review or feedback from a wimp like this.
