Re: General Gaming Discussion
I'll agree, the game is all sorts of awesome, but above all, I found that eventually, I wanted to keep playing the main story, primarily for the game's humour. Just the dialogue between characters alone was very amusing. As well as that, bringing chainsaws to wrestling matches, gunning furries while Hulk Hogan provides commentary, and being a toilet.
About to jump into this "Family Guy Online" beta. From what I've heard, its a virtual representation of Quohog that you navigate and interact through.
So, basically "Virtual Springfield" from 1997, replaced with Family Guy trademarks and a multiplayer function.
I signed up for this already as well. lol. such great taste.
Well guys, I've always been honest with you and this will be no different: I bought Battlefield 3. I know, I know. I have said not kind things about said game and others like it over time. However, ever since the other night when I played it at someone else's house, I couldn't help but keep thinking about it and the fun I had with it. I've had it for about 2 days now and once I got over a steep learning curve, I've actually got pretty decent compared to when I started. I'm not amazing by any means, sometimes I still walk 2 feet and get killed for an entire game and that pisses me off, but I just tell myself it's my fault for not watching what I was doing and I carry on.
Does this make me a hypocrite? Probably. Am I enjoying myself with something I never thought I would? Absolutely. I feel like there is more strategy in BF 3 than the COD games and that's also what drew me to it.
