I always thought Prey was awful, second only to Two Worlds as the worst game I've ever played, how it was commissioned for a sequel in the first place I don't know.

Prey was always the bedraggled corpse of an idea 3D Realms could never quite bring to life. Prey 2, on the other hand, looked wonderful.

Many games looked wonderful yet failed to deliver. There was no guarantee that Prey 2 would be anything worthy. Open world shooters aren't that good anyway, FPSs are meant to be linear. Far Cry 3 will be coming out in a few months if I know correctly, so you'll have an open world FPS at your hands (even though Far Cry 2 is the most lifeless and uninteresting game I've ever played, you might have fun with it).

Anyways, just yesterday I installed Max Payne 2 to find out what's the big fuss about this game, I didn't really ever play it and I wanted to see how it is compared to how Max Payne 3 will be. For a game that came out in 2003 it has amazing graphics when maxed out and has it's own charm, but I got a feeling (Wooohooo) that 3 will be an utter failure. Unfortunately for me, something got messed up with my high end PC and there's no video input until I manage to fix it somehow so I'm stuck with my old PC on which I can't really play anything worthy.

Premium Walls

I've wanted to snap the Farcry 2 disc in half and set it on fire while doing the dance of death around it on more than one occasion. That game is infuriating.

Not a completely terrible game though. New one looks like a massive step up.
