Also, if you can afford it Caesar, look for the Suikoden games, and Vandal Hearts. Both great games.

Broken Sword games make me want to gouge my eyes out with a hot sharp stick. I can't believe they even remade the first one (I think it was the first one) for the Wii, DS, PC and possibly some other formats. They bore the living fuck out of me.

Been playing a bunch of random Wii games over the last few days (downloaded a bunch for the hell of it). The Sonic and Saga All Stars Racing game is shit. Its a cheap knock off of Mario Kart, and somehow manages to fail at EVERYTHING. The only good thing in the game is the commentary during races, which I would actually like to see added to Mario Kart games in the future lol.

The Conduit is a game I have had since it came out, played the first level, then put it to the side while I played something else that came out around the same time, and forgot about it . With all the talk and news regarding the second one coming out later this year (or next year, I don't pay much attention to these things), I decided to dig the first one out and see why people seem to dislike it so much. Honestly, I can't see anything wrong with it and I'm about half way through it. Maybe the fact I don't normally play FPS games means that I haven't been "poisoned" by the likes of Modern Warfare 2 and COD 918728738172 or whatever the top FPS games out are called these days. Given that I only have a Wii, and then a bunch of old consoles, and have never been that into FPS games to start with, I'm pretty happy with The Conduit so far, and I look forward to the second one. Reminds me of playing the original Halo game too lol.

So, any rare or unheard of games you guys played in your childhood? I remember Monkey Magic and Eggs of Steel for PS1. Sold 'em long ago, but looking at Ebay, I may just pick 'em up again for keepsake if the price is right.

I'm also trying to find some replacement jewel cases for my games, but I'm not having much luck (especially for games with 2+ discs). A lot of the games I did get when I was younger were used, and a lot of the cases have residue left over from stickers and some are cracked, which kinda bugs me.

I used to have hard copies of Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy VI, Secret of Mana, and Super Mario RPG.

I hate myself for selling them on eBay early last decade. Most of them got me $80 on eBay.

Which is a lot more than they are worth now.

I hate myself for not buying Earthbound back in the day. I remember walking into a Funcoland and seeing a giant box for a SNES game and thinking "I'd rather wait for Super Mario RPG"

And now you look back and say, "DAMMIT!" Same with me and a few games. I sold a fair few PS2 games (including Capcom Vs SNK 2 and Marvel Vs Capcom 2) because I wanted to buy a 360. BIG MISTAKE. Even though MvC2 netted me some big bucks, I really regret selling it. Now I'm looking for a Dreamcast copy (which are generally cheaper than the PS2 copies and sell near the same compared to the Xbox copies) to compensate, and I'm trying to look for CvS2 again. This is why I'm no longer selling any of my games.

And Boonage, there's no way in hell I'm buying some of the Suikoden games. On Ebay, Suikoden II alone is selling for more than a hundred dollars, and I know that's the most popular one.

I used to have a copy of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Capcom vs. SNK 2 for the PS2 as well. Also had a copy of Ico once...but it broke .
