Re: General Gaming Discussion
I am 8 hours into Saints Row: The Third and only now have I got into it. Until this point it just felt like an extension of Saints Row 2, I haven't touched that in over a year but the general feel of course was very similar, weapons handled the same, there wasn't really much fresh
Only now, after 50% of the game according to the save game screen am I actually enjoying the crazy sandbox feel of it, whether it'll continue to escalate or not remains to be seen but before that point I was getting fed up. I've now fully upgraded pistols and got some other cool things which make it more enjoyable
As for the characters well none stick out in my mind, Kinzie is annoying that's all the input I can give

Same goes for protagonist and antagonist. It doesn't need to be the main hero or the main villain.

I really enjoyed Shaundi and Gat in this game and the previous games. Oleg though gets my vote for best new character in the game. He's a gentle giant that's very intelligent and loyal. He definitely sticks out. Burt Reynolds wins best guest character though.

Playing through Tomb Raider: Anniversary again. I had forgot how much fun this game can be.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
I could never get into the Tomb Raider Series, the controls were always weird. I hope the new one coming out is good, the demo and trailer looked awesome.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
The controls for the TR games are what's always held me back from enjoying them as well. Hopefully the new one fixes it.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
I get paid on Friday (woooo first wage in 5 years ). Should I get a 360 now... or wait and get one closer to Christmas in hopes of some Christmas sale, or after in hopes of a January sale?
EDIT: Or should I get a PS3? I have no idea which would be better for me since I really haven't kept up on what games are on which console . I have had a look around and I can get the basic 360 or PS3 console for the same price roughly, so I just have to decide which to get at some point .

Re: General Gaming Discussion
Well if you can get them both for the same price, then you should pick PS3.
Both have pretty much the same games, more or less.
Personally, if I had enough money to buy a new console, I'd get a 3DS.

Get a 360 instead of a PS3.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
I want all 3 eventually (PS3, 360 and 3DS), but I'm after a console atm first before I get another handheld (though I DO really fucking want to play Mario in fucking 3D lol... hmmm... bastard, I never even thought of the 3DS this morning...).
Hmmm... so a PS3 you say? Out of curiosity (this is a question to everyone btw, not just Nas), what would be the top 5 (or 10... any number will do) NON FPS/Racing/Mostly Online games for both consoles?
Edit: One for 360 and one for PS3. Lovely .

Re: General Gaming Discussion
If you've got a PC, you can cut the 360 list in half more-or-less. The 360 really excels at FPS/Racing/Online, if that's not your cup of tea, the PS3 is probably the better choice.
PS3:
Uncharted 3
LittleBigPlanet 2
Heavy Rain
Metal Gear Solid IV
Valkyria Chronicles
Infamous 2
God of War 3
360:
Gears of War 3
Alan Wake
Crackdown 1
Mass Effect 1
Fable 3
Left 4 Dead 2
Dead Space 1
