I absolutely loved Chrono Cross. Convoluted story, but I liked it anyway. Just something about it I don't see in other RPGs. Definitely my favorite game of all time. Favorite characters were Lynx and Harle.

Yeah Harle was my favorite character too. I liked Kid as well, as well as Karsch. There were just too many moments in CC that I still think about when I'm thinking about my favorite games ever. The switching body/frozen flame situation, the Dead Sea, Chronopolis and FATE. Obviously the beach with Lucca, Chrono, and Marle was bone chilling right before facing Time Devourer. I absolutely loved the connections to CT. It wasn't overdone and when there were connections they were so special. Also the soundtrack was so killer.
CC and FF9 will always hold a special place for me because of their OSTs. I mean yeah CT and FF6 had killer OSTs, same with SoM and so many other JRPGs, but for some reason FF9 and CC are my two favorite. Another World theme, Star-Stealing Girl, and People Seized with Life are my personal favorite CC tracks and in FF9 Place of Memory (Memoria) (which is also probably my favorite RPG track ever aside from maybe Another World in CC and the overworld in FF6 and the NES overworld in FF3) and You're Not Alone are the standouts for me. Same with Terra (FF9) theme, and even Daguerrero....basically the latter 1/4 of FF9's soundtrack was incredible, with the rest being very good.

So pissed that Chrono Break was never made even though Squaresoft copyrighted it a while back. But like WCW Rules said recently I don't want it just for the sake of it, I want another CC-esque caliber game.
