Gotta say, I'm now a helluva lot more excited for Halo: Anniversary. This game has such emotional value for me, so it's good to see they're not completely ruining it like I had thought. Chief's armor is also back to its original glory (at least much closer to it than that shite we saw at E3). Time to relive some memories.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

But it has new hi-def graphix yo. A whole new feel to it. Besides it starts at $40, meaning that in a few months the price won't even sting. I'll get it at some point, not a priority by any means. Lots of other shit to keep me occupied until I can grab it as a bargain.

You haven't paid for an upgraded re-release of something you love dearly? Think with your HEART man.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

I will never buy a game twice unless my original copy for some reason doesn't work. And that never happens because I'm ridiculously anal about keeping my discs clean.

I'll probably end up buying it, I never had the original version or an XBox for that matter.

Dude....
I know, I know I am derived.

I was going to download it from X-Box Arcade a few months back, but the lack of achievements made me think otherwise.

Achievements have spoiled me for games in the current gen. It makes me feel like I am working towards something besides progressing a game's story. If I can't strive to complete an achievement or gain XP to level my character up I have a hard time wanting to continue a game, unless I utterly love it then I just plain out enjoy playing it.

I know this may sound odd, but meh.

When I'm sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead

It's one of the funnest games you'll ever play, I've met very few people who didn't enjoy the hell out of it.
