Re: General Gaming Discussion

It's a small game with illusions of Diablo. It's fun. Worth the $10 you'll pay for it (get if off Steam cheap).

If you like stuff like Bastion, Diablo, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, or Champions of Norrath, buy it.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Meh Baldur's Gate was an alright game but nothing extraordinary imho. I always liked playing Golden Axe at the local arcades, along with the Simpson's Arcade game and TMNT.

Ahhh good times. I have no idea what made me start talking about cabinet arcade games to be honest. It just popped into my head for some reason.

The last arcade game I bought on XBLA was Guardian Heroes. I am going to buy Crysis after I buy a MS point card later on today. The only downfall, if any, is that it is alost 4 gigs in size. I have a 120gig HDD for my old phat Box but I only have about 83 gigs of free space left on it.

When I'm sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead

Re: General Gaming Discussion

I also set my eyes on Diablo. I know it's a 15 year old game, but I like it's dark fantasy theme and the game's point and click RPG style. I may give it a shot in the near future.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Diablo 2 is pretty awesome. One of the first PC games I ever bought (well, I bought the expansion, my mate already owned the full game, so we borrowed each others discs to install both). Bought Torchlight in the Steam Summer Sale earlier this year and played through it. Was fun for the most part, but I started getting a little bored towards the end, and the final fight and the actual ending was... not worth playing through the game to get to . Will still be getting the second one at some point after it comes out because its gonna me multiplayer so me and my mate will probably run through it together.

And I totally need Diablo 3 when it finally comes out .

Diablo 3 for the 360 should be the poo-poo doo-doo. I think you know what I'm a sayin'.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Isn't Diablo 3 only on computers?

BTW, I gave Hitman: Blood Money another shot today after watching the Absolution gameplay trailer and I'm really liking it. The graphics are good and the gameplay is varied, but I find it too hard. Took me almost 2 hours to finish the second mission. Although I like the fact that it's a thinking game, at least, not a straight-forward one and actually makes you use your brain while playing. Also installed Hitman: Contracts. Anyone played it?

Re: General Gaming Discussion

I never played Contracts, but I saw a couple of mission walkthroughs on youtube. Looked fun enough. Am I right in thinking it's a remake of the first game?

Uncharted 3's first review is by some Spanish mag or website. Gave it 9.9 but also spoiled the ending

I read that the missions in Contracts are basically remakes of missions from the first one, but the first one looks just too outdated for me to play.
