As hard as it is to, what with all the hype this past year concerning it, I'm trying to keep my expectations low so if I enjoy it immensely it'll be a treat for me.

No alternate costumes? I know they'll all end up as DLC but I hate this pre-order business where different shops have different perks. Here Gamestop have all the Robin stuff & Batman Beyond costume, Shopto has Batman 1970s costume, but I can get it from Tesco for a few quid cheaper minus all the extras. Urgh.

Yeah America has sucked ass with pre-orders for major releases lately. There's almost no point in pre-ordering here now besides the guaranteed copy of the game.

I pre-order months in advance and have my games paid off months in advance. That's the advantage to pre-ordering, at least for me.
As for you, Vic, the Gamestop pre-orders all come with the Batman: The Animated Series costume skin as well.

Currently trying to win Alan Wake and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on eBay. Don't ask why. There are so many new games I want, but after the pimping Alan Wake received a couple pages back I'm itching to pick it up cheaply.

I expected more variety In the gameplay like the original had, but it was heavily tailored to stealth gameplay which I rarely enjoy as it is.
That and Adam Jensen is about as likeable as shit sandwiches.

The game is pretty hard to find new AND used, at least around here. I've only found one copy and it's at a local Kmart where no one buys games. That's where I found Okami Wii and Persona 3 for dead cheap.

Fair enough. But you really shouldn't aim your hatred for RAGE towards Bethesda, the publisher (after EA dropped out). It's an id Soft game.
