Re: General Gaming Discussion

I do plan on getting Dark Souls before the year is up, but it's not on the top of my to-do list.

I'm still trying to finish Dead Island and then it is on to Rage, for me.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Probably a good idea, Dark Souls will easily suck 100 hours out of you before you see the final credits.

Some reviewers didn't even finish the game. One reviewer said something like "I haven't finished the game, but I think after 90 hours I can safely review the game"

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Between Dark Souls and Skyrim I should have enough RPG goodness to last me a while. I'm already seeing myself putting about 300 hours or more into the two of them.

Did you finish Dead Island Sephy?

I stopped around 82% done with the main quest. There's this fucking awful escort mission where you escort this tribal priest and once you get to this village, he rushes to the middle of it and gets surrounded by two thugs, a butcher, and a half dozen infected. It fucking sucks. My game finally glitched and loaded a checkpoint in the laboratory so I could keep fucking around while avoiding it. I'll probably rent it again next month and just co-op that mission. I was like level 37 too.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Get on HR, McQueen. And give it some time to open up as well. I almost got bored with it but decided to stick with it and it's worth your time and effort.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Human Revolution is my GOTY

I hope that DLC comes out soon

(Last time I checked it had the not so exact data of October)

Supposedly about five hours long and if they don't charge me like $20 than that should be pretty sweet considering that's about as long as the average modern FPS

Re: General Gaming Discussion

I too have Human Rev and have not started it yet. I'm still grinding away on Dead Island but have a few other games that I want to start. I am not giving up on the zombie game yet though.

If worse comes to worse, I am going to just hit the main campaign and not worry with the side quests as to get done with the game ASAP.

That's hard for me to do as I am a completionist, which stinks at times.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

I have a question to the more hardcore gamers on this forum (gamers who played games regularly for most of their lives).

The games that were released in the 21st century, from 2001 until now, were there many that suffered from terrible technical issues, bugs, glitches, etc?

Just curious, because a lot of games released lately suffer from various problems.
