I am not a big fan of Horror Games, but Sephi did just put a solid ass list together.

BioShock is pretty scary at times, the game seems perfect for awesome headphones too.

I personally approve of surround sound, but I have been know to use the Dre Beat Headphones.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Silent Hill Homecoming. That is all.

Every other game relys too much on the cheap jump moment with the exception of the first Dead Space. Silent Hill Homecoming is great if you actually want to be scared while playing.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

I agree that Silent Hill: Homecoming is a great scary game to play atmosphere wise, as well as one of the best in the entire Silent Hill series imo.

I think it was severely underrated if you ask me.

When I'm sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead

Re: General Gaming Discussion

BioShock isn't scary at all. It's more like freaky. BioShock 2 is scarier.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Bioshock is downright creepy, with an atmosphere that imo will be unmatched for some time to come.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Half-Life 2's Ravenholm has all those games beat when it comes to creepy atmosphere.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Ravenholm was definitely creepy. Bioshock just isn't scary because the game comes down as a dark humored cartoon and it's atmosphere is overrated.

If you want an atmospheric game that really creeps you out, Bradley, play Alan Wake, the best 360 exclusive available.
