Kinda want to get a 360 now, just so I can play Mass Effect 1 and get the full ME experience by the time ME3 comes out. If I do that I may pick up Gears 3 too.

You could get you a 360 and grab the Gears triple pack for $30 McQueen, and then grab the 3rd Gears for $60. Have the whole Gears series and a shiny new 360 my man.

You could actually get the triple pack for less because they have it on sale for $20 at Best Buy now, or it was this past week I know.

I know our local Gamestop already has all of their pre-orders maxed out. I am going to drive by there and see just how crowded they are.

Luckily I already have my copy. I appreciate Gears, but it isn't one of my favourites.

The midnight launch is between two Gamestops, but it's taking place in one (the one I work in), so it'll probably be crowded since it involves pre-orders from two Gamestops. This does not include walk-ins, who will probably be the bulk of the purchases.

I like Gears because of the splitscreen co-op play. I would probably enjoy it far less if it did not have this feature.

I won't be going to the midnight release, but rather wait and grab myself a copy later on in the day from the local Wal-Mart. I am about to start playing the first Gears again for the first time in years, to get myself refreshed for the third one.

It has been a great year for video gaming so far this year, and it's only getting warmed up.

Yeah, maybe. Just not sure I want to drop $300-400 right now with work slowing down unless I get a second job. Still got bills to pay, plus I just picked up Deus Ex: HR the other day.
