I'm getting a little sick of PC/RPG purists telling everyone how they're "failing" and "doing it wrong" by purchasing Skyrim on Xbox. I enjoy and prefer playing certain games on the computer, but really, shut the fuck up. They've perfected the console experience (a massive improvement in drawing distance, for instance), and the button layout looks to work like a dream on the controller, similarily to Oblivion. Also there's no need for me to drop big money on upgrading my shitty system when it's practically the same game on older hardware in 360.

Some PC gamers definitely seem to look down on console players, which I think is hilarious. I don't like PC gaming for a few reasons: First off, the controls on a PC are fucking terrible. Second, you constantly have to upgrade your PC over time and that costs shit loads of money. When you buy a console, that's it.
I'm all for people having opinions but I'm going to have to bite my fist at this besmirching of Bioshock & GoW. >.<
I'll probably lean more towards Deus Ex because the Origins collection may be somewhat disappointing if you compare it with the 3 main games. I imagine it will still feel like playing a PSP game with a PS3 controller (that was the vibe I got with the demo anyway).
I don't see how anyone could fault the first Bioshock, it's amazing. I can however see how people could fault the GOW games, yet it seems very few people do and it baffles me.
There was a developer (forgot who) that stated that all games in the future should be "always online" and have a multiplayer element attached. I'd never want to be part of that developer's future, tbh.
Sounds a bit like how John Riccitiello, CEO of EA, thinks. He always seems to think that multiplayer should be a part of every game. He stated that's the reason why Mirror's Edge didn't sell well. Which is why I don't like EA owning Bioware, but that's just my personal feelings towards them. Sure they'll help them out alot...
Also heard Cliffy B saying something along those lines.
As for PCs. I mainly just use mine for games that don't come out on consoles, like STALKER, the Total War series and Plants Vs. Zombies.
I only really use my PC for The Sims and Football Manager. I got steam a month or so back though because of some of the deals in the sales, so I might buy some decent cheap games when they next have one. I'm also tempted to get the witcher 2 for PC instead of 360, but I'm still undecided how my computer would run it
So, huh. God of War Origins Collection isn't the original two games of the franchise packed together, but a HD re-release of the two PSP installations. This could be confusing for new players looking to get into GOW.
Can't really comment then as I've only played the main games. Gameplay looks identical though.
