Re: General Gaming Discussion
Has anyone played inFamous 2 yet? I was finally able to get a copy & i'm waiting for it to arrive at my house. I mainly bought the game because the DLC actually looks appealing, especially the vampire themed one.

Jeez. That's fucking ridiculous. Not everybody has Live/PSN (or internet for that matter).
I enjoy online gaming, I must admit. I like being social, and it's fun to turn on a game like Reach and party up with random people and just talk shit with them. It's fun. I play online when I'm lazy and don't feel like getting immersed fully into a game.
Then there are times that all you want to do is play a game with an epic campaign.

Beat it twice on both difficulties. Final bosses were far too easy, and not enough bosses in general. Still really fun though, not a challenge at all but neither was the first one,
Anyone else getting NHL12? Judging from the demo it will be easier to score, bigger hits, and harder to deke. They got some good new features as well.

That sounds terrible but honestly eventually that's how it's going to be. I've accepted that probably within a year and a half I'll have to get online and the only positive to that is that I can plow my way through years of games I've missed from XBLA.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
Deus Ex: Human Revolution or God of War Origins Collection? Both are at very similar prices at the moment in the UK and are probably around the same length. I've completed all of the previous God of War games and I haven't played a Deus Ex game before so I'm really not sure what to get. I'm probably going to get both down the line anyway but I'd like to see some opinions on which is the better game. (I know Origins isn't out yet)

Re: General Gaming Discussion
Deus Ex, no question. Stay away from the GOW Collection, they are all the same simplistic shit.

Another opinion would be that God of War is one of the greatest series of games to exist. I say you give it a chance, Brad.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
I'd go with DE as well. It's a lot more complex and has more variety than God of War.

It sure is another opinion, one that I think is insane.
The GOW games are all exactly the same. They are all linear button mashers that require little to no skill to complete. The only things the GOW series had going for it were the music and the graphics. Other than that, completely average in every single way. The love for these games completely baffles me.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
I'm probably going to get Deus Ex. I do like the God of War games though, they're entirely what games are meant to be. Fun. Now the love for Bioshock isn't something I can't understand. Awful, awful games.
