The whole reason I got the Wii was to have a collection of the best of Nintendo, Super Nintendo, N64, Gamecube, Sega. It's pretty awsome to have them all on one system.
Its up to Rare if Goldeneye is ever available and since they are owned by M$ now, its highly unlikely.

Goldeneye is only good for nostalgia. That game has aged horribly.

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

I was messing around with my old NES last night and I popped in Star Tropics.

Does anybody remember this game? Its formatted much like Legend of Zelda with dungeons, item collecting, puzzle solving, etc. But rather than a swords & sorcery type affair, its about a boy going from Island to Island fighting aliens & monsters. Its very kiddy, but like I said, its alot like Zelda in how its structured and strangely addicting and very good.

There were alot of Zelda knockoffs on NES, but as far as Zelda Knockoffs go, both Star Tropics and its sequel (yeah, there were two!) were both very good games.

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

I remember the game I just never got to play it. I have a couple friends who had it and they still say good things about it to this day.

I commented on this last year. It's a great collection as a lot of those games are classics. I'd replace that game Treasure has on there with Gunstar Heroes which they also made. That would be perfect.
