Re: General Gaming Discussion
The gameplay in Rage looks exciting to me, which is why I pre-ordered and paid it off. Looks far better than most games in its genre. I wouldn't expect id, whose FPS pedigree is horribly understated in the industry, to fumble in a genre they excel in. They, along with Epic, are among my favorite FPS developers.

I personally loved the game, I beat it about 4 times. It's unique, it actually got my girlfriend to play something for once!

Re: General Gaming Discussion
I still haven't played Catherine yet and would love to but none of the Blockbusters or Rogers here got any copies in and all of them were supposed to. And I don't really buy games anyway, so there isn't a chance in hell I'm going to buy Catherine on a whim.

Anyone playing the zombie missions on Black Ops?
I keep hoping that they'll release all of the zombie maps/missions on *one* disc.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
I was a part of the streaming audience @ God's Garden #4, a SSF2 tournament held in Japan over the weekend. What an amazing experience. Watching guys like Fuudo, Daigo, and Tokido up close and personal is something I'll always remember. I think I may have even learned a few tricks.

I've been considering it. Maybe I'll pick it up one of these days.
Rage has also been creeping onto my radar lately. Hope it turns out good. Not going to pre-order that one though.

Re: General Gaming Discussion
I am still itching to get my hands on Dues Ex, but I am still playing Borderlands and I don't want to drop it and start a new game as I probably would not go back and finish it up.
Sadly my motivation to finish a game I am currently playing diminishes greatly if I pick a new one up.

Got an email saying Deus Ex has been shipped to me today so I'm hoping it gets here a day early. Sometimes it's hard to live in England

Re: General Gaming Discussion
Who's played Demon's Souls on PS3? I got a new Playstation last week and figured I might as well buy something to play on it, so I got this and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (although, barring 20 minutes on MvC, all I've played is Red Dead Redemption...got to something like 93% before the old Playstation shit its pants). I basically wanted something to hold me over until the new Elder Scrolls game comes out in a few months.
Good, bad, indifferent..?

It really depends on what you want in a video game. It's a very well made game and tries to do something new (and succeeds) but it's hard as fuck. If you don't like hard games you probably shouldn't get it.
