Goldeneye was awesome. I would love to get my hands on a copy but the only trouble is that I'd have to spend a fortune because the only place I can think of buying an N64 from would be ebay, and from what I've seen, they don't come cheap on ebay. Somewhat of a collectors item now.

Pretty new to this thread but I thought I'd mention the original Sonic on the Sega Megadrive, and Sonic 2. Those and Streets Of Rage 2 were, and still pretty much are the greatest games. I used to spend days playing them with friends. I wish gaming was like that now. The only thing we have to match in this day and age is playing with someone you don't know from across the globe. That's not fun.

Oh, and I'm hopefully going to be picking up a Gamecube soon with the whole Resident Evil set. Again, another game that's been shafted in recent years. If they do make another, they should certainly go back to the old survival horror style.

I picked up an N64 on ebay cheap as hell (about 10), and I only paid about 5 (including delivery) for Goldeneye on ebay as well. Got both of them about a year ago too.

You should definitely get the Sonic Genesis Collection if you don't have the original games. I got a FC Twin which plays NES and SNES games. The SNES part of it runs like an actual SNES does and it comes with two controllers. What sucks is that the prices seem to have risen on a lot of games.

So, with some of my Christmas money, I just spent 35 on some old games:

Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64)
Killer Instinct (SNES)
Crash Bandicoot 3 : Warped (PS1)
Powermove Pro Wrestling (PS1)
WCW Mayhem (PS1)

The fact I got Conker's Bad Fur Day AS WELL as all the other games for 35 just made my fucking year lol. I never see it less than 40 starting price! Good old ebay lol.

I have 2000 Wii Points to spend and I am really not sure what N64/SNES games to get. At the moment I am thinking two of:
Majora's Mask
Super Mario World
Link To The Past
Super Metroid
Mario 64

Any other suggestions?

Am I the only one here who wishes they would remake NBA Jam on the new consoles? I loved this game as a kid and it's pretty expensive to get here along with the Genesis itself.

Majora's Mask and Super Mario World are excellent, however, so is A Link To The Past and Super Metroid. Super Mario 64 is cool, however, you can play a similiar version on the DS. Whatever you choose, you can't lose on any of 'em.

Super Metroid and A Link to the Past are the best games you asked about. Easily two of the best games ever too.

I've got all the old Sonic, Mario, Donkey Kong games on my Wii.

I love those games so much. I just wish there would be more games available for download like Goldeneye.

The whole reason I got the Wii was to have a collection of the best of Nintendo, Super Nintendo, N64, Gamecube, Sega. It's pretty awsome to have them all on one system.
