Man, what a game. I remember opening the box and seeing the red cartridge and absolutely going ballistic.

My cousins and I had to have spent over 200 hours playing this at our grandmother's.
Great game. Spent many an hour on that, damn dopperganger messed me up!

My cousin had that game for SEGA Genesis and I remember playing it a little bit. Seemed pretty fun but I never got far (I think I got the the stage where you first get Venom).

Concerning LoZ, my favorite will ALWAYS be Majora's Mask. I loved MM. LTTP would be second, while TP would be 3rd. OoT just edges out Oracle of Ages/Seasons as my fourth favorite in the series.

As for Spiderman & Venom: Maximum Carnage - played it on the Super Nintendo as a kid, and it was an awesome game. Reminded me of Streets of Rage for the Sega Genesis.

Anyone ever played King of the Monsters for the SNES/Genesis? Kick-ass fighting games with some grotesque creatures reminiscent of Godzilla. Pure awesomeness back in the day. Primal Rage was also killer. And who can forget Killer Instinct? They seriously need to make a third one. Come on, Rare! KI 3 would be a massive coup for the 360 library.

I have both and I always enjoyed them. Evertime I played KIGold on N64 when I was younger, I never knew how to play, and I would literally move my hands all over the controller, pressing buttons without knowing which ones. I used to win too, but I always got like five blisters on each hand.

^ Me as well. In fact, I never knew how to play any of my fighting games as a kid until I got older. I button-mashed, and somehow managed to get some combos anyway. I believe the first fighting game that I ever strategically got a hang of was Capcom Vs. SNK for the Dreamcast, and Capcom Vs. SNK 2 for the PS2. Once I got into the groove with those two fighters, I started to get better at other fighters. Took me awhile, but I still enjoyed the old-school fighters nonetheless.

KI:Gold was poor when compared to the SNES version.

I just hope that Rare dont screw it up again and try to make it 3D. KI in the style of SF4 would pretty much own.

I liked Majora's Mask for what it was and I loved the darker theme to things but the Groundhog Day gimmick put me off TBH. I still would put Wind Waker 1st because that's the game I grew up with and I love the charming graphics. Yes, the sailing sucked but there was a way to get around it fairly early on and it felt like a truly epic journey- as all Zelda games do. I would put LTTP second and OoT third- Twilight Princess just feels like it is imitating OoT rather than a game on it's own but imitating OoT doesn't exactly make for a bad game.

Wind Waker would be below Oracle of Ages/Seasons, however, it'd be higher than Zelda II, The Four Swords, Minish Cap, and PH, which was alright. None of the Zelda games are bad games - just some are better than others. The only bad games were for the Philips CD-I, which I've played on an emulator. God awful games. Wind Waker was a charming adventure and whimsical, just how a Zelda should be, but it was too easy. The adventuring elements in WW, bar none, are fantastic and it definitely feels like you're on a quest, but I got through the game very fast even in doing the sidequests. The reason Majora's Mask is my favorite is because of its surrealism, how dark it truly is when you get into the mythology of the game. Vastly superior to OoT, at least to me. LTTP was just awesome, while I thought TP was well done and even though it seemed like a copy of OoT (blame the fans), the mechanics and everything else made it a better game.
