Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

Crash Bash fuckin' owned.

Just a few points to make:

Wind Waker absolutely blows every Gamecube game out of the water, I am seriously considering putting it as my favourite game ever. Yep, even above the much fabled OoT which also rocks my socks.

Why the hell is Twilight Princess on Gamecube so expensive? I hate the Wii version of the game and my Wii also deleted my save game which was halfway through the game so I cba to go through that all again and I haven't played it in 6 months and I thought I could pick up the GC version cheap but I have seen it going for a stupid amount {65}

Anyone know where I can get this cheaply?

Didn't like it much either myself to be honest but it was the only non GBA/DS Castlevania side scroller I could think of that had some hype behind it.

Its because of homebrew that TP is expensive.

As for WW being the best gamecube game is a subjective statement. Although you all know what REALLY is the best game on the NGC.

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

Super Smash Bros. Melee is by far my favourite GameCube game ever. In fact it's my favourite game ever. Ocarina of Time is a [not that] close second. Lylatwars, Pikmin, Twilight Princess, Path of Randiance, EarthBound, Super Mario World and probably Super Metroid ('probably' because I haven't played it in awhile)would be like a top 9 (can't think of 10).

It ws definitely awesome, I play this at least once every one 1/2 years, too much time spent on the water is the only negative, but since I'm really impatient, it might just be me.

I'm with Booned. Metroid Prime is pretty much the best fucking game ever.

Resi 4 is the best GC game. Ever. Of all time.

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

I'd rather play Prime IMO.

Only games I think are argueably better are all on the SNES, Super Metroid, LoZ: Link to the Past and Chrono Trigger.

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

Link To The Past might just be a better game than Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker. Amazing.

Has anyone, by chance, happened to play Okami? It has gotten rave reviews across the board and is meant to be similar to Zelda but hardly anyone brought it. It seems to have a cult following and I might pick it up cheaply if possible and I want to know what it plays like.
