Re: General Gaming Discussion

I just never found that i could hit anything, and i never felt like i was getting any stronger, i felt weak. And thats not what they were going for, like i would get better weapons, but the targetting still sucked.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

There's no reticle, but I don't think the targeting sucks either. In fact, I think the shooting is pretty tight mechanically. I feel like I get stronger all the time, especially when I upgrade with the red gems. The monsters pose no threat to me, but that's not why I enjoy the game so much.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

I didn't find anything bad with the shooting or aiming in Shadows..., it seemed perfectly fine. Reminded me of RE4, especially with the laser sight that they give you with each weapon. I could get headshots quite comfortable. Occasionally I'll miss my target, but that was mostly because they moved out of the way. The blood spots on bosses were pretty simple to hit as well.

The red gems also help with making a better weapon. I pretty much upgraded the BONER to full and could pretty much kill enemies in one shot. It also makes mutilating their legs easier. But the best weapon to upgrade seems to be the Shotgun, as it has(obviously) more power. On easy I could destroy must final bosses in about two shots, but that is easy(my 2nd playthrough).

As for completion time. Think my first run was just under 10 hours.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

I don't think there is anything wrong with the shooting either. At first I felt like the aiming was a little too fast and floaty and I was missing shit but then I just adjusted the sensitivity in the options menu and that solved that completely.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Gonna change the topic and mention I played Little Big Planet for the first time in forever with some friends today. Man, I forgot how fun and frustrating that game can be.

If I recall rightly it'd be in or around the 20 range. I'll have a look, thanks
