Are you implying that Sonic CD was the only good Sega CD game?

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

I just got a SNES today, awesome to play it again after all these years . I got Mario All Stars with it, and a Super Game Boy, and I bought Super Mario Kart last night on ebay (99p, boxed with instructions!!!).

Anyways, other than the obvious big games for it (mario, zelda, metroid etc which I plan on getting when I can), can anyone recommend me some good games for it?

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

It owns pretty hard. You should look for a copy then if it interests you. I'd say its the 3rd best game for that system behind the epic Super Metroid & LOZ: A Link to the Past.

And since i'm sure someone (WCW) will come in here to defend SF II, that wasn't an exclusive so i'm not counting it.

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

I'll be getting SFII no doubt, got it on the Virtual Console on my Wii, but I still want to own it on my actual SNES now lol.

As for getting hold of CT, it won't play on my PAL SNES. I think there is a devise you can get to play other region games, but I have no idea what its called or where to find one (I would look on ebay, but I really need to know what they call it first ).

Re: Retro Gaming Discussion

Well you could always look for the PS1 port of the game lol. But it had some annoying loading lag times in CD-ROM format.
