Hmm, Coin-op turned Genesis... LOL is it Altered Beast?? That game got way too hard way too fast. Speaking of Coin-ops, I miss Bad Dudes, and the Original Street Fighter. Ya know, the one that only let you pick Ken or Ryu. You only had like 3 moves. And one guy you had to beat only by jump kicking. If you got any closer he KO ya.

Also, I am opening up the RC for everyone to participate. Signups seem a little gay atm seeing as no-one is actualy doing anything, it might create some activity.

Also ANY retro talk is allowed. Just when I ask for the game reviews post them.

Wow.. How fucking hard is the first boss, i keep knocking his head off and then he just kills me i can't get a shot in!

IMO, you should make some more goals for defeating the bosses.

I'll download this tommorow (after my media coursework is in).
Seeing as this is now open to any retro discussion, i'll start with a question: How old do you think a game/system has to be before it becomes 'retro'? Is anything before this gen retro? Is the N64 or PSX retro? Do you have to go back to the old Atari and Commodore systems to be truely 'retro'?
IMO when I hear the term 'retro', I generally think to 2D, 16 bit games of the SNES (and earily ofcourse).

Just finished with this game.

The sound fx were subpar nothing interesting there.

The Sprites were decent and the animation was well done. I didn't understand the story or anything being this is the first of the splatterhouse games I've played. It was a run of the mill beat-em-up he's definitely no Mike Hagar. I got to the 3rd stage died and gave up. I would of got farther but the boss was one of those knock the head off and he slides back and forth the screen and doing major damage kinda guys.
