Yeah Sephy pretty much told me Fallout is the better game but Borderlands is more fun. Was leaning toward Borderlands.

Thing about Fallout is that it's really immersive, but I personally found it to get tedious faster than Borderlands did.

There's more "game" in Fallout 3, but it's difficult to get everything you want out of it.

How is the combat in Fallout? I love Elder Scrolls but i'm hoping the combat is better in the FPS setting of Fallout.

At the start, you have to use the VATS system imho because of the sheer lack of ammunition in the game at that point. And trust me, as fantastic as VATS might seem at first, it gets annoying. The FPS aspect only really comes into play once you start accruing vast amounts of bottlecaps and ammo for various weapons.

That's the neat thing about Borderlands in relation. It's not often that you're stupidly strapped for ammo.

Not quite that bad all the time. If you're not very good at the game (hee-hee) you'll end up like that though.

Nah i'm the bomb i'd manage. Really leaning towards Borderlands now anyways, but might come down to whatever I can find unless I resort to Amazon or something. Could only find Borderlands for 360 earlier this week whereas I did see Fallout 3 somewhere. Need to go to Gamestop though.

McQueen, go for borderlands. Fallout seems to be a love or hate game, while i haven't encountered a hater of borderlands. I liked fallout 3, but it gets boring very fast

McQueen, the combat in Borderlands is straight FPS. There is ammo everywhere and there are also ammo vending machines.

Go for Borderlands.
