Re: General Gaming Discussion
Off topic, but I'm currently playing Fight Night Round 4 and I feel like a moron for shitting all over this game when it first came out. I was in love with Round 3 and thought that it was perfect and never really stopped playing it after it originally came out back in the day. So when they announced R4 I was excited as shit and popped it in on release day and was mad as fuck because they completely changed everything from the ground up. I literally played maybe 4 fights, shut it off and took it back the same day (I rented it).
I decided to give it another try a few days ago and I cannot get enough of it. I HATED Total Punch Control at first and that was the main reason i hated R4 in the first place. But now that I took the time to learn it correctly, it's so fluid that it's amazing and I cannot fathom going back to how I played before. I still have a little problem using Sways correctly because I am so used to playing UFC 2010 (put over 70 hours into it, easily) and the Sway system in that game is so different. But all in all I am addicted to it now and can see it for how great it truly is.
Anyone else have this happen to them recently? Not with Fight Night obviously but with games you originally couldn't stand, went back to at another time and found out that you love them?
