The later levels will take longer obviously. Weapon lvl 1 will go up around 0.10 per kill, 0.9 per kill for lvl 2, etc etc.

Depending on how much you grind, it shouldnt take too long.

How do i access the inventory in this game? I tried all the buttons but nothing, only an equip screen.

Press the A button (the one that brings up the equip screen) then the up and down buttons to cycle between menus.
