I have a question. Best Buy apparently sell 80GB refurbished systems, which should have backwards compatibility. Buying a PS3 tomorrow. So should I go with a refurbished system, or a brand new 160 GB one (which costs more obviously)?

i recomend asking someone at besbuy if it has backwards compatibility.. there are 2 80gb versions.. if it really matters to you, i guess get the backwards one

but slim is better overall imo

I read some of the reviews on the refurbished systems. Seems to be hit and miss, some people have had problems. I mean right now after thinking about it, I already have a PS2 and maybe backwards compatibility shouldn't be the concern. Leaning towards getting a new one. Thanks.

Yeah I still got my PS2 over at my dad's place, along with the Gamecube, and have the PS3 at my moms with the N64 too, so I never run out of stuff to play when I have time

Also, disappointed that True Crime 3, Max Payne 3 are both pushed back to next year for their releases, am really looking forward to them.

Main focus right now is Fallout New Vegas and the latest Football Manager games. And FIFA too.

My main focuses are Fallout NV, Dead Rising 2 and EA's MMA (which judging by the videos has WAAAAY better animations and a far better ground game than the UFC games, and I LOVE those games). I was looking forward to Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions but a few days ago I watched a lot of gameplay footage and it looks exactly like all the other Spidey games and they were all decent at best. Plus, I'm not a fan of the cell shaded look they are going with.

I'm not a fan of Cell Shading in general. I think however in Borderlands case, it works, whereas in games like Spiderman and Zelda, it's going to be a fail considering previous games were in polished graphics.

I think Shattered Dimensions will be far beyond just some random Spider-Man/movie tie-in,after watching some gameplay, and reading up on it the game looks very impressive.

Is John Woo's Stranglehold worth buying? I'm thinking about getting it on the 360,and you can get it brand new/factory sealed at Gamestop for 12 bucks,so i was wondering if anyone here played it,and i know the game is a few years old,but oh well the game has recieved critical acclaim from all the reviews i've read.

I'd get it if it's cheap, it's a decent game kind of like the matrix with the stuff you can do.
