Re: General Gaming Discussion

my Shepard's face is getting more and more fucked up. There were some moments i was to nice but hopefully it doesnt really hurt this run. Seems the Salarians are becoming my enemy after this meeting. I forget what this imported Shep did, i know one of them killed the Rachni queen, does that decision impact this game greatly.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Greatly? Not at all, just involves one mission, the one with Grunt (kill the fake queen or save the real one) and a war resources number. Since its the fake queen if you killed it you can leave it to die (since it will try and betray you anyways/the real one won't) and get Grunt's squad for some points or Rachni to help build the Crucible.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

Giving Civ 5 a whirl. I don't know how I feel about this game. On the one hand, there are aspects of it that I absolutely love but there are things I don't like about it either. I always get frustrated with these types of games because they require a lot of time and effort and I always end up tapping out from frustration but I'm going to stick with it this time and see where it goes.

Re: General Gaming Discussion

I think the only thing I don't really like about Civ V is the battles aren't as epic as Total War, but that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy them, nor do I think they should have them. But that's the only 'negative' I could find. As for the Naval battles, Civ V beats it thanks to it's simplicity. I love sending a huge fleet to destroy Cities that have been constructed near the ocean, easy pray.

As for the rest of it, I find it so addicting. I could spend countless hours just building my cities up so that they increase their production, culture, food etc.. Then maybe start thinking about building an army to take other a few countries. I also like how you can choose the size of the map, how the islands are constructing. The HUGE map that I started with has lasted me over 10 hours so far and I've only destroyed two countries. Still more to go.

It's definitely the most addicting game I've played for a while. Reminds me of Rome Total War when I would spend hours building my Empire up to over take the world.

Soul Caliber II online

Now I can rape anyone with Voldo, and I mean rape, not beat really badly (I'm not so great).

So I'll probably pick this up.

Don't really mind the guest character. We were obviously never going to get Link, and I'm sure there would have been some trouble in getting Spawn due to copy right laws. But is he really that much of a loss? Wasn't he just a clone of Necrid, or Charade?
What the hell is a Soul Caliber?

Argh.
