You shouldn't have a problem, I got through a group with Holland, Germany and Sweden.

I've started a new game as QPR, aiming to actually do a full season without going on holiday mode. Signed some good players and I hope I get a good season. The board want mid-table, I reckon I can get them up within 2 years.

On my PSP, i'm playing as Portsmouth. As it is an older version I got promoted from the Championship and to be honest i didn't buy any players and i've drawn my first two games. One against Sheff Utd and the second against Manchester United; basically by playing with a sweeper, playing long ball with a defensive mindset.

I have now decided to end with Benfica and I ended up 2nd in my 5th season. Got to the semi-finals of Uefa cup. I now will sign for Manchester United by using another user.

Got three seasons going the now and have been over 4 days and X hours on two of them and 1 day on the other. The 1 day one i am Portugal. When you go too Portugal at the start of a game starting at England July 2007 like most people would you are third but it seriously ain't hard to get them through. I won all my games scoring 5 in all of them and finished top of the group with points to spare. Went into Euro 08 and won all three group stage matches hammering the teams especially in the last game of the first round. Me and Croatia had already qualified winning our first two games each and were playing each other in the third. I fielded my weakened or my second side and won 4-0

last 8 was a struggle and had to wait too ET. I then gubbed Italy 4-0 in the semies and lost in penalties to France in the final. Real gutter.

Just been given the Birmingham job and am sitting third place, this is in the championship but i am pretty happy with that so far as they were 17th when i took over and that is only me played like 8-10 games. Still Portugal as well.

Post another time about my other season!

Engima i once went QPR and surprisingly the board expected me to avoid relegation or it may have been battle relegation despite giving me a healthy 15 million bank budget and if you had predicted your side too win the league. I could have had 27-30 million i believe. Anyway i tried the avoid relegation not setting my sights to high but beleving to myself that i could at least get a high mid-table finish but half-way through the season i was fourth and lost one game and my top goalscorer and totally fell apart so i Quit

the best i have done in the Championship is with Hull were i got them promoted in the first season despite being favourites. Well one of the favourties to go down and then i finished 16th second season in the prem and got the united job

I love footy manager but I don't get how people play for so many seasons on it. I struggle to get through 1 full season without getting bored. I always start a new game and buy different players than the first time. Maybe thats partly to do with the speed of the computer though it shouldn't be sconsidering I've got a fairly decent laptop. I actualy think its because the amount of time you need to devote to playing it, if you only play occasionally it will take upwards of a month in my experiance to complete 1 season. That been said I still can't wait for the new one to come out.

I actually skip matches by going on holiday so it goes faster. It's a habit now and I just get bored watching a match.

I don't skip matches or anything but what i do after pre-season is done and we are into the first game of the season. I go on holiday between each match. When you click to go on holiday there is a feature which says to next match. I just click that. Go on MSN or something and when thats on holiday just talk on MSN or do something else.

I have a very fast computer as well which helps. I couldn't play FM if my comp was slow sadly
