Don't wanna sound all-knowing or anything, but it's a given fact that the teams you mentioned actually do have a lot of money IRL.

I just bought Diego for 20 mil

He's scored 5 times already and im about 8 games in, coming 4th on the table as Manchester united.

Not in this game tho, when they start with paltry money. That's what annoys me.

No posts in a while in this thread so i will be the first in a while

Have to agree with Reney. Serie A seems to be the most corrupt league even in the game. I also started a season with Inter and Lazio are the team who have bought such stars as Huntelaar and Miguel Veloso etc.. I still find the season to easy with Inter as i am in December and i am currently 10 points ahead of second place with a game in hand

Just started a new game with City. Haven't played it for about 6 months but I thought i'd give it a shot. Sold some worthless talent and bought Kameni, forget what team he's from but he's a 23 year old goalie and he's been a bargain so far, despite the fact that I paid 14 mill. He's leading the league in Average Player Rating.

You can get him for 8.25m on his minimum release clause. I also started a season with Manchester City and ended up winning the Carling Cup and the league. It was unbelivably easy for some reason. I signed guys such as Wright-Phillips, Lorenzo De Silvestri who is a beast. I signed a lot more including one signing who is awesome. Buy him seriously, his name is Diogo. Turns out to be a god. Darren Bent for 5.5m in Jaunary also.

The big bonus was being able to hold onto Micah Richards as well who partnered up with Garay very, very well

The second season i sold Michael Johnson to Tottenham for 23m

and sold De Silvestri for 35m to Arsenal

Whoa haven't posted here for ages!

Anyway, in my Leeds game, we finished the 2009/10 Premiership season in 9th spot, with a record of played 38, won 16, drew 9, lost 13 giving us 57 pts. Vaclav Sverkos was top scorer with 15 goals. He is now worth 8mil and Liverpool (who have won the league 3 years in a row

) are now sniffing around him. The other success story is my new captain Paul Huntington, who recieved his first call up to the England squad just before the 2010 World Cup. Sadly he didn't make the squad, but he did make his debut in a friendly. England made it all the way to the final, only to get pumped 5-1 by Argentina! Tevez (still at Man U) and Aguero (now at Liverpool) scored 2 each.

So, I was preparing for the new season, and the Intertoto Cup campaign we have ahead, when I start getting linked with all the top jobs available. Sir Alex has finally retired at Old Trafford, my name was mentioned by somehow I lost out to Steve Coppell.

I was then offered the Tottenham job. Nice contract and about 25mil to spend... but they finished behind me in the league at 12th and their squad is pretty messed up now. So I respectfully decline.

Then, a few weeks later, I notice Arsene Wenger is announced as the new French boss, after Domenech is sacked after they go out at the group stages of the WC. Once again I am linked with a top job... and this time I'm offered the Arsenal job! So I take it straight away, sad to be leaving Leeds behind, but now with a 69mil transfer budget!

It's the middle of July right now, so I'll post before the season starts what kind of team I have and who I signed, but I think it's pretty awesome since I was managing a league 1 side 3 seasons ago.

Restarted Inter season after a bug fucked up last one

my defense is stellar, in ALL competitions only conceded 4 goals and I'm in late October. Barzagli/Chivu OWN in centre defense. Quaresma is doing the job again, and Quagliarella and Menez are too when called upon.

Also bought LUCHO from Porto for 12.5 million and have Guilherme signed for the following season and am scouting guys like Zapata, De Silvestri, Hamsik etc but dunno which I'll buy depends on my budget for next season.

Sold most of the shit and once again Rivas and Cesar won't fuck off
