Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**
I think there's already one of these threads somewhere, isn't there?
I'm West Brom, just started again for about the third time because I'm now on my new computer. Signed a few of the reccomended players from the other thread - Aaritalo, Frazier Campbell (on loan), Mohammed Kallon, and Quinton Fortune on a free.
There's others, but I can't remember them, and if you sign anyone, sign Aaritalo, he's quality and from what I've read is the best value player in the game. Kallon is quality too.
I play 4-5-1 attacking, with the two wingers moving up top to help out, they score a good amount. I have two CMs, one more attacking than the other, and a DM behind them, works perfectly.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**
Lost all my pre-season games as Sutton Utd in my first season in League 2 (2 promotions in 2 years) and I managed to finish 11th and get to the 5th round of the FA Cup and I lost 3-1 to West Ham.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**
Left my game going on holiday for a bit and forgot about it while I went to do some other stuff. Came back and Brom were 15th in the league in January, miles off the top and my security was 'Precarious'.
Resigned and I'm now at Reading fighting to stay up. Just lost my first game to Chelsea 2-0.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**
Done a season with Arsenal but pissed the league and won the FA cup and CL 1st season.
Going into my third season with QPR now, second in the Premiership. What a team I have for this season. Hoping to push for Europe.
Pellizoli
McCann Cuellar Hall Taylor
Barnes Tymoshuck Jimenez Buszkasy
Stancu Arshavin

My recommendations are teh sex tbh.
Started a season with Atletico Madrid, sold Aguero to Inter for a staggering 42.5 million Euro's and Maxi Rodriguez to Chelsea for 20m and went on a spending spree signing Huntelaar, Veloso, Squillaci, Ochoa, Quaresma, Van Der Vaart, Serginho Green, D'Alessandro (loan) and Julio Alvarez with 75m budget I had.
Patchy so far, team is starting to gel tho, ran riot over Levante 7-0 after a 0-0 with Valladolid and a heart breaking 3-3 with Getafe, managed a 2-1 away win over Sevilla and although outplayed them with Veloso marking the fuck outta Messi, lost to Barca. Damn Eidur Gudjohnsen and his 90th minute header

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**
England games seem too easy in FM. I remember not losing a game and conceding one all the way up to the Euro semi finals (easy group though of Scotland, Sweden and Poland) and I beat the Scots 4-0, Sweden 3-0 and Poland 5-0. Eventually lost to Italy in Extra Time. I have received an offer to manage Tottenham so far after they finished 11th in the league :side

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**
OMG, Real Madrid are invincible in my season. Currently at the 8th of November and they haven't lost a game, they've won God knows how many games 1-0.
I'm doing quite well, currently third behind Real and Barca and have a piss easy UEFA Cup group of AEK Athens, Cluj and two other jobber teams. Huntelaar and Forlan are on fire together, and Guilherme and Reyes are doing well too. My frontline is saving games, Pablo is clusterfucking up alot, but I don't wanna replace him with Perea or Ze Castro as I fear they'll do the same.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**
Playing Handheld:
Just started a Manchester United Season, and have done 3 seasons already. I got done in the first by Chelsea, with a late goal in extra time by Drogba.
Second season I won, and amazingly, MANCHESTER CITY were able to come up and have a go at me. I won comfortably 3-0.
Third I won again, this time I was going at it with Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool and Portsmouth. Arsenal dropped off, and I got to the final with Liverpool, when I lost to Everton late in the season, but still made it. I won 1-0, thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo (You Legend...)
I am starting my fourth now, and have bought a few players, and Valencia is a gem. Average rating of 7.9 and took his place in the squad as a starter.

I mark for Pablo. Was a beast at corners in my Spain game and never let me down at Arsenal where he was signed as back-up to Toure and Gallas.
