Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Gabriel Barbosa from Santos is pretty much the best striker in the game on my save, 17y/o at Santos when the game starts. Tomas Martinez of River Plate is another great one

I got FM14 a while back

Match engine seems clunky but everything else is cool.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

So I started unemployed and got a job at Welling United. Scraped promotion out of the Conference South in my first season through the play-offs with some really patchy form. Picked up a few key frees near the end of the season that made my midfield immense. Ten games to go in my second season and the Conference is dead easy. The squad was a little thin at the start of the season, but it's really easy to pick up players who are far too good for the level after a while for a reasonable price. Danny Webber (for all you United fans), who I've had since the start, averages just under a goal a game and is bossing it.

Spoiler for lelconference:

I'd imagine next season will be tough. The most I pay currently is 300 quid a week, so League Two will be a big step up when trying to get players in. Hoping to get some more decent quality on frees from Wales, Ireland, and smaller EU countries who have clubless players at international U21 level. Plus I'm not yet a full-time professional club, so idk what that adjustment will be like. On the plus side, the no debt at the end of next season, and the club is profiting each month. Hopefully an FA Trophy win gets me in the black.

Match engine isn't as bad as 13 but it's still not at FM12 level of greatness, still a fun game mind.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Any editors on here able to help me? Was adding my local non-league team and half the players, despite being created using the editor, are nowhere to be found in the game. Half the team is there, and I created them in the exact same way.

Reload the game with all players based in the country loaded. It might be a rep thing...

Gave that a try, how to do I make sure all the players based in Scotland are loaded? Did you mean I need to improve the players reputation?

EDIT - Got it working, had to re-add the players for some reason.
