Home/Away handicap is way too ridiculous. Home team ALWAYS wins possession game. How in the actual fuck is my Arsenal squad with Ozil - Wilshere - Ramsey - Alexis Sanchez in midfield NOT retaining possession against a Spurs/Barnsley/Norwich team with no decent players in the midfield?

Even after I told them to retain possession and control the ball?

Oh, that's right, because I'm not playing at the fucking Emirates.

Because playing away alters players' mindsets so much to the point where they forget how to play a decent football match.

Because in real life, the Home team always dominates the game and always beats the visiting side, even if they are world class.

Ridiculous.
I downloaded a tactic that gave me some good ideas on what gets possession, it's called "The Truly TIKI-TAKA by kun" It's a 4-3-3 that always gets me possession advantage, when I first downloaded it I used to draw playing away but with a few tweaks eg: tighter marking, overlapping and eliminating the "play a high line" instruction I've been winning most games. Training is super important too with tactics, if you are not training newer tactics hard enough it can take a long time for the team to be used to playing it.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Spoiler for awww yeah:

did a quick pool save to see if i could outlast both my scouse housemates who got sacked around february-april. after a p rough start and lots of draws i managed to turn it around and win on the last day. Helps that nobody else in the league was particularly outstanding. got the sack too for his poor position. Now for an FA cup final against sunderland before letting my contract run out and maybe coming back to this save to use as a journeyman one if I get bored of my sunderland one. Annoyed Poyet finished higher than me in my first season so would like to get the FA cup seeing as i got both that and the capital one cup in my save

Also JI scored 17 for me, bargain buy alongside suarez. Sturridge was p ASS.

this album gave me a good laugh

"I wondered if I could win EURO 2012 while having one TERRIBLE player in the team; someone really along for the ride, a bystander, a complete passenger."
