Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

transfers are added up weird. in the career stats page it says i paid 9 mil for lew but the news item says i paid 8.12 mil. idk whether it counts extra fees because i've got extra payments for dortmund over 48 months.

dante's the same, it says 10 mil on his career stats page

midway through a season with the hammers and razvan rat is leading the league in average rating and potm awards (6, next best is on 3).

if you need a left back, sign him.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Full backs seem really good this year. Certain ones anyway. Matt Lowton got 13 PoM awards in a Villa team which came bottom, and Neil Taylor for me got 10. Yet when I play anyone else at left back they're trash. Martin Kelly is just consistently getting 7's or so, which I can't complain about. Reveillere was also good in the first season till about march when he just started getting loads of 5s. Luckily I signed Junior Malanda in january for cover. Also Vargas on loan from Napoli but he went to Barca when his contract expired.

Finished 7th in my first season with Sunderland, beat Hull to win the Capital One cup and Spurs on pens to win the FA Cup. beat me to manager of the year though b/c he won the league with Utd. Beat him in the community shield tho so thats good. Then got beat 4-1 at Stamford bridge in the 3rd round of the capital one cup. Welp.

Apart from Kelly and Caulker I spent the rest of my summer money on 3 regens to go with the 4&5 star potential ones my youth system made. Also picked up Diego on a free since he was fine w/ 30k a week and being a rotation option. Actually investing a ton into youth this year to try and build a regen team really early since I've never really tried it. Some of my U18s coaches might actually be better than my first team ones. Crewe as a feeder club is handy too with their SUPERB facilities.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

After my adventure with dartford half my team decided they would rather leave so i was left with half a squad and hardly any money so i bailed and took the leads job who after 3 seasons i have managed to get promoted.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

anyone else find there aren't enough highlights being generated by the match engine? I just had a 1-1 draw with Napoli and the only 2 highlights were the goals, a penalty for Gilardino and then a dodgy as fuck jammy deflected shot leading to lethal counter attack for Zuniga.

ME really needs a patch NOW
