Any of you guys play this on the iPod? Really awful and the results seem 50/50.

Hasn't got the depth of the pc version thats to be expected but its still good. I've done ten years with Blackburn won the premiership 4 times and 38 cups so results depend on the person

Does anybody know a mid-table club with huge wages? My friend gave me the idea.He sold Yakabu and Hoilett while playing with Blackburn. He waits until Player contracts end and he gets them on a free.He got JDS,Ireland,Macheda,Arouca,A.Gomez and Fontas all on free which is pretty good.

Villa get good wages after 1st season i think, you could try everton although not blessed with funds have a few players you can make big money on and are the type of team you need to get free's and bargains with. Everton are possibly the most fun to play with and sometimes get a good takeover.

Outside shout maybe wolves, stoke or fulham.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

didnt get thsi one i played rubbish for the whole match and its 1-1 81 minutes gone my left back gets sent off so i have to change my formation i ended up winning 4-1 seems odd that i played better in 9 minutes with 10 men than the first 81 minutes with 11

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

15 games in with Everton and these are my three top goal scorers.

Phil Jagielka - 15 apps - 8 goals
Nikica Jelavic - 15 apps - 5 goals
Steven Naismith - 15 apps - 5 goals.

I appreciate the defender helping out with goals but it's taking the piss now.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

FM is always fairly unrealistic with defenders scoring too often. Once I had Bocchetti score 4 goals in one game vs Chievo, I had to quit and play it again, that was just ridiculous.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

So I want one last great Football Manager save that should last me up until Football Manager 2013 comes out. I am not sure who to be though. I want to be one of them teams in the big leagues who isn't quite a league contender but always floating around Europe.

I was thinking of:

Fulham, Everton, Schalke, Leverkusen, Roma, Napoli, Lazio, Valencia, Atletico Madrid.

Who do you reckon I should go for out of them teams guys?
