I like doing France tbh, and England mainly for Rooney/Bent combo which always works out well for me in FM. Italy seems like a good one now too, awesome midfield, tho no quality out wide sucks.

I'm coming up to the World Cup 2014, and Joe Hart looks like he could miss the tournament. Who are the best English goalkeepers? I have Butland and Ruddy playing the friendlies, but i'm open to suggestions.

Smithies isn't bad, depends on how he's developed and 2014 may not be long enough.

I just picked up Butland for my Plymouth Save. About to start the Championship season and Martin O'Neill just signed for Barcelona.

In my 3rd season, Fergie retired and Phil Neville got the job, his first coaching job after hangin up his boots. Michael Owen manages Blackburn, Alan Shearer - Norwich and Kevin Phillips - Aston Villa.

What are people's thoughts on reserves and youth teams? Am I the only one who just doesn't bother with them? At the start of every new game I just try to sell them all off. The only ones I keep are those who look like they could be decent, even then I just loan them out so they get first team experience elsewhere.

For the first season i'll sell them off to raise funds, but then start building from the end of season 2 onwards, upgrading the facilities, holding trial days etc and sending them out on loan, depending on the facilities at my feeder clubs. As well as getting them tutored by my 1st team.
