You need to use the No-CD Crack 8.0.2 since you installed the 8.0.2 patch. PM me and I'll send you it if you need it.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**
Just a quick question. Is there anyway you can play FM without having the disc?

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**
In my Leeds game, it's the 30th of December 2009, which I thought was a good time for an update.
In the Prem, record looks like played 20, won 9, drew 4, lost 7 giving us 31 points and 7th spot.
The big time TV money of the Prem saw the board back me (I guaranteed survival) and give me 20mil to spend. I brought in Adam Johnson from Middlesbrough for 2mil (they got relegated after 2008 and ahven't got back into the Prem yet), Niko Krancjar for 5mil (Pompey got relegated last season), Justin Hoyte from Arsenal for 1.8mil and a young Colombian called Christain Nazarith who my scouts went nuts for, so for 4mil I'm hoping he turns into a real prospect, but he's helping out just now as well. I also brought in Danny Guthrie (liverpool) and James Milner (Newcastle) on season long loans.
All was goign well until I suffered some bad injuries, so on deadline day I got Bobby Zamora (800k) and Antti Niemi (400k) to come in. Zamora has been used sparingly, but Niemi has wound up my number on keeper after some great performances. I also got two random guys from Spain on season long loans, Ivan Ramis (mallorca) and Juan Pablo Caffa (Betis). Ramis is a regular at centre back, while Caffa has helped on the left wing.
Sverkos is once again my top goalscorer (signed for 850l, now valued at 7mil) and we'd be screwed without him.
I'm loving playing this game, so I'll prob post another (hopefully not so long) update at the end of the season.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**
Portsmouth always seem to get relegated these days in FM. I caused a surprise in the 3rd round by drawing with Chesterfield but lost on penalties in the replay! Useless game, I fail to see how people can miss a penalty by that much and my top striker has a penalty rating of 2, he literally can't score a penalty!

I have downloaded an update for FM starting in July 08. I will play as Hull. I'll give you an update on our first year in the prem soon.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**
Got Stockport promoted by finish third. I was planning to leave the club in the Summer and move to the top 2 Scottish leagues but thought I'd wait a season until I decide to leave after the media predicted me finishing 24th.
Has anyone ever managed a Scottish team apart from Rangers & Celtic. I really fancy taking one over.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**
As a Rangers fan I always go them at one point. Only problem is you'll be expected to win the league every season.
Also, does anyone know how accurate those "... has been labbelled as the next..." tags are? I've never noticed them before, but I've got a guy labbelled as the next Glenn Hoddle, and another tagged as the next Sol Campbell. Do these things usually come good? I mean am I onto something good with these two guys?

Being a league one manager I reckon I'd struggle to get the Rangers or Celtic job. I was thinking more teams like Hibs, Aberdeen, Motherwell & even lower.
Also being touted as the next *insert name* is usually a good thing.
