I also wanna sell Joey Barton for about $15 Mill which get me up to about $33/$34Mill,
Now need to find a good AMC who can score goals from AMC!

Edit: just thought of 1, Van Der Vaart ! he scored goals for me in my Man Utd game!
Don't sell Martins, he stats may look average but if you set him to high forward runs, run with ball and possbly a free role his pace will be unbelievable and he should rip through defenses.

Try and get Veloso to replace Barton. And look at Fazio to tighten up your defnce for the future.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

I came up with an idea for Football Manager. You take 11 or so World Class players, make them 16 years old drop their stats, but keep their potential ability, then put them back in the club where they first started out. Then you sim through and follow their careers. Should I make a new thread for this?

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

Started off Unemployed...

Had to wait until December, where I then took over 22nd placed Stockport County turning down the Darlington job for this one...

... I signed players like Chris Day, Joe Anyinsah, Andrew Barcham & Ben Rix...

... Managed to survive comfortably by finishing 14th. Very happy with that and the aim was to have a top half finish now...

Signed players like Younghusband, Max Gradel and Robert Eagle, over the summer.

I'm currently 2nd in the league in mid November, I lost in the QF of the Auto Windscreen shields cup to Leeds 1-0 and lost in the opening round of the Carling Cup to Wigan 0-2.

Hoping to get them promoted, at least a playoff place. However if I get offered a job by a higher placed team and am offered more money than I am on now I shall more than likely take that job. Don't you just love the loyalty in the game?

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

In my Leeds game (which I posted about a few weeks ago) I finally won the Championship! Two straight promotions and we're now in the Premiership!

We finished with played 46, won 32, drew 8, lost 6, giving us 104 point.

Vaclav Sverkos went on to be the top goalscorer with 34 goals. I signed him for 850k, after one season he's now worth 4.5mil! Only made two loan signings in January, two young wingers from Aston Villa, Yago Bellon and Zoltan Stieber. Both played their part, especially Bellon.

Hopefully now we're in the Premiership the board will show me some money and I can get some decent signings in, otherwise we'll go straight abck down. One good thing though is I'm being linked with every job opening in the Prem, including a news item I just read stating David Moyes won't be offered a new deal by Everton and I'm the favourite for the job!

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

I think i have just done the most stupid thing ever relating to football manager. I gave it out on loan to my friend for two weeks Yeah i feel bad now .

Anyway. Not told anyone about a season for a while so i shall tell you all about my Arsenal one. This is going on memory sort of as i don't have it here infront of me.

Well, At the end of the season i walked out with a treble, lifting the prem, carling cup and champions league. Won the league with around 11 points TBH. Bet Manchester United 3-0 in final of Carling Cup and bet Inter 3-2 in Champions League final. That was a struggle really when i was leading Inter 3-0 and in the semies i had defeated Barca 7-2 over two legs .

Now onto the signings if i can remember. You start with around 80m which i was stunned about but also happy about. Anyway, i went onto do the typical Arsenal way and bring in many youngsters from the age of 14 up to 18. Some stayed with my side but most from 16-18 left out on loan to other sides. Really, can't be bothered going through and naming these real youngsters as they are probably unknown to most people. The bests ones i probably picked up were Esposito, Saivet, Tuia, Adrien and Rigione for next season

Including the January transfer window i sold Kolo Toure to Real Madrid for 20m. This is in January and i was able too with declaring interest and such, him getting unhappy i bought Micah Richards for 19m. I also went on too buy the man i always do Steven Defour, I got Nasri for 9.5m. In January i signed Sergio Aguero for 34m and also bought Garay for 13.75.

I did sell a few others but cannot remember them at this time. Adebayor was on fire the whole season and managed to get over 30 goals in all competitions and 24 in the league despite being out with many injuries and being at the African cup of nations. Infact after coming back from that he would always get injured for only one game or so but it did become annoying.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

Oh dear start of my second season with Inter after winning the Serie A and Champions League, signed Kolarov from Lazio for 9m, Hamsik for 20m. Fucking Napoli were bleeding me dry for him.

Also got Ochoa as he's got potential from America.

Sold Recoba, Carini and Bellaid and still have Zanetti, Toldo and Cruz lurking in the reserves as they dont wanna leave and they are good incase of injuries.

Fucking Palermo meanwhile signed HUNTELAAR, DIEGO, VAN BOMMEL and BOSINGWA!

Totally unrealistic tbh.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

Started as Manchester United.

Brought in Harry Kewell for just under 2 mil, because I had the space for him. Ronaldo owns, Ji-Sung Park has scored 21 goals, with a few games to go, Rooney has scored 39 and Tevez 19.

I should finish 3rd under Chelsea and Liverpool, but about 5 points. I won the FA cup, and lost in the final of the Champions League to Barcelona.

I have 50mil to spend, and am looking for someone niiice.

Van Der Sar, Rio, Vidic, Evra, Neville, Kewell, Park, Anderson, Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

Harry's all I could afford at the start of the game. He actually played well, and was the only one I could sign easily without a permit or anything.

This is PSP btw. I'll come up with my PC version in a few.
