Life imitating art there then

If you are not having much sucess, then I would do one season with a club like Barcelona. Madrid or City where you're pretty much guarenteed to win stuff if you just select a good team and let them go out. Gives you a chance to then adapt tactics that you like whilst still having a great team to fall back on. Bilbao is touhg because of the signing restrictions, never done Burnlet. Dortmund is always a fun game for me, but don't know if you want to go to the Bundersleague.

I tried Bilbao, they have a very small transfer budget, only managed to buy Sirieux from Touluse (the guy is French but Basque, somehow).

They play really well, I played around 3-4 games in the Primera Division, but won them all, scores like 4-1, 5-1. They have some great players.

In retaliation to that league table that had Forest at 5th in the Premiership (i nearly threw up...)

I'm currently 4th (in the next season from the pic) 6 points from United with 2 games in hand. My Chelsea team is 2nd behind City, 3 points off but i'm basically building my team, adding in a few youngsters. (27/29 League games played so far this season)

On topic, I have played two seasons with Vauxhall Motors (starting in Blue Square North) and have brought them to League 2. I am trying to bring them to te Barclays Premier League and win the title.

Current table (in season 13/14)
1. Vauxhall (Pld. 13, Pts. 39, GD +48)
2. Shrewsbury (Pld. 13, Pts. 31, GD +20)
3. Scunthorpe (Pld. 13, Pts. 26, GD +12)
etc, etc

OK I don't think i'll do Athletic afterall. Signing basque players only will piss me off too much and I prefer playing with players/teams i've heard of. I also like managing clubs with reasonable transfer budgets. Whats Dortmund, Napoli or PSG's like?

PSG's budget is quite good and they have a strong base to work with, you don't have to do a great deal apart from sign someone as cover/to partner Gameiro. I did a game where i started at Notts County and ended up with Marseille and they were quality to manage, they normally gave you a good 40-60m a season transfer budget too.

Playing as Dundee United currently. LolScottishfootball. Have to say, its a nice challenge to break the iron grasp of the Old Firm. Currently I have a very young squad. Brought in a few ex-Barca lads, few Scottish lads and mixed them with a few others. Second season at the moment, top of the SPL and was unfortunate not to qualify from the Europa League, considering my group was PSV Eindhoven, Hannover 96 and Stade Rennais.

Couple of players to recommend for the 'lower team'. Isaac Cuenca. Well rounded, will murder most defences if played well. Marco Calderoni. Another well rounded player. Hes average up front but solid in defence and support. Gary Mackay-Steven. Hes from where I live, so I'll probably favour him over most left wingers I could play. But hes a great player. Always dangerous, great technique. Fraser Fyvie/Kenny McLean. Both Scottish lads, they fit each other well. More all-rounded midfielder, relatively clean slate so you can mold him how you wish, alongside the more crafty, creative lad.

Wouldn't take them if you were coaching the likes of Manchester United & Chelsea, but they would work for teams like Leeds, Rangers, Celtic, QPR, West Ham and what not.

I've gotten Truro City to the Championship, but think I'll be staying there for a while. Came 8th in my first season in there, missed out on the playoffs by 10 points, so it was never going to happen. A lot of my new signings for this current season are Slovakians as I seem to think I have some kind of rapport with them, as I'm also the part time Slovakian national team manager. It's always nice to see on your information 'languages spoken: English, Slovak' haha.

With any luck though, I'll hopefully keep coming in the top half of the league until I get to the playoffs. Hopefully the chairman won't sell any of my players with potential, which always pisses me off.

Well, I decided to play as Liverpool, and finally the board actually gives me money when I ask them. I'm only 3 games in to the first season and i've signed:

-Yann M'Vila 28m
-Wilfried Zaha 3m
-Nathaniel Clyne 4m
-Olivier Giroud 12m
-David Bentley 2m
-Royston Drenthe 2m

I'm going to try and sign a replacement for Jamie Carragher and a young playmaker in the Winter transfer window. Any ideas? I was thinking someone like Simon Kjaer and Marek Hamsik.
