He did that with me after the quadruple, saying he wanted a new challenge and achieved all he could at United. We had a private chat and after telling him he was unprofessional, he changed his mind. If you want to keep him, he will stay. He agreed to a new contract too at the same wage after a non-negotiable offer. He was so good in the second half of the season in all positions that I just had to keep him, plus I can get a better price for him if I decide to sell.

I had him on loan in 13/14 with United and he was okay. He was highlighted as a future star from the first season but he's not there yet. He was pretty good against the mid-table teams but was fairly ineffective against the top teams.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

I've got Munian in my Barca Team.... Bought him because he was single handedly keeping Athletic on top of the table. I picked him up as Messi went down for 4 months. He played well but he may have just played well because of who was providing him with the ball (Xavi, Iniesta etc)

Carrick is keeping Fletcher out of the side on my Man U game, Anderson is a boss in the BWM role.

He did okay in 12/13 after I sent him out on loan the first season. He was nothing special and behind Ayew, Huddlestone, Sissoko, Labyad & Rodwell at the start of last season.

Had a good start to 14/15. Won the Community Shield 4-1 against Spurs and beat Roma in the Super Cup 2-0. In the league I beat Burnley away 5-1 and won 4-0 at Stoke, plus Blackpool 7-1 at home. Hernandez has 10 in 5, two hat-tricks but the dick got sent off in injury time against Roma to get himself a three match man for the Champions League.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Took a break from my PSG game, which entered 2022/2023. And went back to the Blackburn file I barely launched.

When I started, was 13th after 4 games, right now, I am 5th after 27 games, with some victories over Man United, Arsenal and Chelsea. Sold Samba to City in January, with Shawcross (9m) and Begovic (2.4m) (had sold Robinson in the summer, so was playing Bunn for 4 months).

Team off the back of a 7 win run, and faces a very easy schedule until April, which includes City and Spurs. But I'm confident I can get 6th and a Europa League slot.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Have some wonderful screenshots on my computer from my United game that I'll upload when I get my internet working. Right now, I have five games to go this season with a record of 27 wins and 6 draws, and I'm only one point ahead of Arsenal, who just won't drop points. They have an easy run in, while I have Everton (A), Bolton (H), Newcastle (A), City (A) and WBA (H). Not liking my chances. I am in the FA Cup final though, beat Stoke for the Carling Cup, have Chelsea in the CL semi-finals (who have been surprisingly decent this year), and then probably Arsenal in the final if I make it, considering they just dominated Barca over two legs.

Also, on the Carrick thing, he's garbage so I loaned him to PSG, who have the option to buy. He's become a key player for them, so hopefully they take that option up.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

changed chamakh to trequaresta, is actually pretty good. willian has been a monster though, 8 goals and 8 assists from the wing

after 16 games, im 14 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, my last 13 games have been undefeated. 44 goals for, 5 against. my champions league group of chelsea, ajax and trabzonspor has been tough. lost away to trabzonspor 2-1, beat chelsea at home 2-1, beat ajax away 4-1 but then lost to ajax 2-1 at home. need to beat trabzonspor at home and chelsea beat ajax away to guarantee progress.

transfers in:
chamakh (6 mil)
tymoschuk (3.1 mil)
bandalovski (140k)
plastun (4.7 mil)
gaston ramirez (loan)

out:
shevchuk (450k)
aghahowa (2 mil)
kucher (3 mil)
moreno (4.3 mil)
luiz adriano (6.75 mil)
chyzhov (1.6 mil)
kobin (4.2 mil)
kovalyov (14k loan)
fomin (400k)
shevchuk (30k loan)
mykytsey (8k loan)
yavorskyi (80k loan)
virt (30k)
kasyan (35k loan)

made more money from sales, and my reserves are full of decent ukrainian players that can fill in if required, but i will be looking to maybe replace some euro guys with ukrainian players. i wont be replacing guys like douglas costa, willian, alex texeria and the brazilians. will look to sell eduardo and replace him with a young ukraine, he's on 50k a week and not very good. will sell rat too.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Gaston Ramirez is absolutely fantastic. Scored about 7 vital 88th minute goals for my Blackburn side. Always in the correct place, at the correct time. Trying to tie him up for next year, will probably cost about £8million, though. But, worth it. Couple years from now, could probably sell him for around £24million.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

i know he is, he was superb in my napoli game. the foreign limit in ukraine is a problem though, however rotating douglas costa (foreign) and ramirez (foreign) doesnt really matter. gonna try and keep certain spots ukraine only (gk, cb, dm) and have the rest foreign (allowed 7 foreigners in the first xi)
