Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Hernandez is just a beast. First season, 39 goals in all comps in 39 games. 25/25 in the league, this year, 18 in 16 in the league and 21 in all competitions at the half way stage. Rooney has 21 and Neymar 13.

Valencia is tearing up on the right, 14 league assists so far. Got Real in the last 16 of the Champions League again! Revenge will be served.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

If you've signed someone who apparently still needs a work permit to be able to play, what do you do??

Either loan them out or give them a new contract it sometimes works and they become eligible (atleast it worked on older fm's)

If you go to your boardroom and ask for a feeder club and when you get the options of which type there should be a work permit option.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Send him on loan to a club where he doesn't need a work permit to play and he'll eventually gain their nationality so he can play for you w/out needing a work permit. You can usually get feeder clubs for this, man u use anderlecht for example.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Just went unbeaten in the league with Barcelona. Messi got 55 goals and 77 in all comps.

@Juul, wait a few months and offer the player a new contract. Always works for me.

Well thanks Tried it, but the board didn't think we needed a feeder club, and the player wasn't interested in a new contract

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

You have to wait to offer a new contract. Give it a few months. Players won't be interested in signing a new deal days after they've just signed for the club.

Try offering them out on loan, if the player is south american hopefully a spanish club makes an offer as it's only 2 seasons to gain nationality.
