Hernandez leading the Champions League top scorers with 17. An impressive tally. Only issue is that we've only just finished the group stages.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Mertesacker getting injured was the game changer. Swansea didn't score after that.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Is FM12 worth getting? I've heard its barely any different from 11, and any changes aren't exactly ground breaking.
Still enjoy playing 11, and download the latest transfers and whatnot, would be quite happy playing 11 for another year until 13 came out with newer improvements (if it does).
In saying that it is only like 14, but still, is it worth those hard earned pennies?

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Personally I preferred 11 too but there are changes that are worth getting 12 for, including a much better looking 3D match engine and improved team talk and player interaction.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

I enjoy 12 more. It's a lot more aesthetically pleasing, and I also know the game better (yes, that's a personal thing, but fuck you).

Trying to match Kiz's run in the CL. Beat United 3-1 on aggregate in the round of 16 (after having Cavani sent off 40 minutes into the first half of the first leg), Arsenal 5-3 in the quarter finals (no Cavani again), and ahead of Real Madrid 2-0 after the first leg of the semis. Doubt I'll beat Madrid, but beating them 2-0 in one leg was still a great accomplishment, especially considering Alderweireld and Cannavaro have gone done with injuries, which means I've got Campagnaro paired with Vertonghen at CB.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

it's ok, you'll lose 3-2 to barca in the final in extra time after biscuits scores a 25 yard volley with the last play of the game.
