Worded it wrong, I meant seeing as they've won more European trophies than top flight trophies. Would like to bring it back to them too.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

I'm just not into my Chelsea game at the moment and I am not sure why, I just haven't had that save yet where I will run it for around 10 seasons. Gone into the database and have set up a club, had a lot of fun with that before, should hopefully that should kick start a good game.

Steve the memories alone

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Being Chelsea is where you're going wrong. Have a go at being a team perhaps from a country you've never managed in, Austria? Greece? Somewhere you've never managed, try make them a force in Europe. If you're not comfortable with that, why not try being a team in the lower divisions of England and make them a force in the Premier League and European football.

A few years back I spent an awful long time on a save with West Ham perfecting or at least I thought perfecting everything and after 5 months I was sacked. After this moment I've noticed time and time again this game dicks me over be it with 97th minute goals when there is 4 minutes of injury time or talking of injuries, giving me 6-7 at once to key players

I have a save with a custom database for my close friends where we all play in the Prem with average stats (For the division) and another which is legitimate

After 900 hours playtime in FM2011 I only had one or two saves I actually felt I achieved something in. Trust me I'm pretty pants at the game and I know it but I'd at least like some satisfaction once in a while without resorting to FMRTE to banish players IRL I hope would f*ck off the face of the earth.

Rant over.

Add me on steam btw if any of you lot are on it: Crespo2008

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Currently in my 2'nd season as Hibernian manager in my objective to win the SPL with a team other than Celtic/Rangers, first season I finished 5'th our biggest downfall was too many draws (11 in 38) and lack of goals my top goal goalscorer was Garry O'Connor with only 9 league goals, star players were Graham Stack (8 Cleans Sheets), Marco Materazzi (Yes the World Cup Winner, 7 goals 7.17 Ave Rating), Marvin Esor (6.99 Ave Rating) and David Carney (13 Assists, 7.03 Ave Rating)

10 Games into my second season and I'm still lacking firepower upfront, my defense is solid but we've only scored 14 goals my new signings Cillian Sheridan & Par Ericsson scoring 7 goals between then but regardless we are 4'th in the league and 3 points behind league leaders Rangers

I actually always save before a match (goes fast enough anyway), and even if I lose I don't go back. It's because back in the day my FM would crash during matches from time to time and I'd suddenly have to do re-do loads of games. Became a habit to protect my progress.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Don't know if this has been mentioned but has anyone noticed there's a Soccer AM team in the game?

Arranged a friendly against them with my Sheff Wed team, should be a laugh

Edit- Won it 12-0, fairly amusing to just watch the goals fly past them
