All in all, not the worst season. But team rebuild incoming.
3 games in 3 days? Does it get that ridiculous if you're doing well?

Worst I had was 3 in 5 with Spurs right at the end of the season when I was challenging for the title and Champions League on FM09. The worst thing was I had two difficult away games at United & Villa and the players were too fucked to play both and it cost me the title.

I can't even imagine 3 games in 3 days, that's like peak players playing at less than 50 fitness. Never happened to me, and I've won the league and the 3 big cups a few times, definitely something that must be a negative on the current game.

Having a national tournament in June definately screws it over.

Second season complete, finished 2nd in the league, terrible, terrible November/December cost me about 20 points. Rebounded and finished 2nd in the league, 9 points off the pace. Destroyed Lyon 6-1 at home in the CL QF, beat Barcelona 4-1 at home, lost 1-0 away but through to finals. Lost 1-0 to Manchester City in extra time. Unlucky, but was a very good addition to a unfortunate domestic campaign. All about rounding up the last few issues with the team now.

started a new game with newcastle (fuck it i like to have a few games at once so i dont lose interest)

in:
daniele rugani (16 year old cb from empoli, 1.3 mil compensation)
daniel sturridge (loan)
jonas svensson (18 year old cm from rosenburg, 1 mil. highly recommend this guy, some very good stats, 17 stamina and work rate for someone this young is brilliant)
siphiwe tshabalala (26 year old left winger from kaizer chiefs, absolute steal at 325k. very good backup left winger to jonas.)
timo hildebrand (32 year old keeper, free signing, provide competition to krul.)
vitinho (17 year old striker from botafogo for 875k, 4 star potential, bargain)
carlos fierro (another 17 year old striker from chivas for 1.2 mil, 4 star potential again.)
gabriel araujo (19 year old brazil left back, only 2.7 mil, 4.5 star potential)

out:
james perch (loan, sheff wednesday)
peter lovenkrands (1.7 mil, sporting)
james tavernier (loan, rotterham)
nile ranger (loan, preston)
conor newton (loan, shrewsbury)
ryan donaldson (loan, hamilton)
shola ameobi (3.4 mil, southampton)
ryan taylor (2.7 mil, southampton)

i ALMOST got rid of alan smith for 1.2 mil to qpr, but he rejected their contract. anything to get this 62k a week sack of shit off my wage bill. i wanted to get deulofeu on loan but he rejected me . i need a left back though, i would get bridge but his wages are too high.

Season 3, made some ridiculous transfers because I was absolutely frustrated with a terrible start to the season. Deulofeu for 31m (totally worth it, I hope), Subotic for 39m (Vertonghen and Sakho are starting to prove terrible together). To balance that crazy shit out, Kagawa for free. Time to recover from the 3 losses in 5 league games.

You can get Rugani on a free at the end of the season, looks a good prospect too. I had a similar situation to your Alan Smith one with Bellamy, Aquilani and Joe Cole which while I sold them ended up costing me 100K a week on players who have left the club.

Rugani is a great prospect, I have him in my Genoa game, along with Gamboa who you can get for the same as Rugani, and they both have sweet potential.

Exhillerating season. Lost 5 of my first 12 games, fought back from a gap of 12-15 points to win the Ligue 1 title beating Marseile on goal difference, after beating them 4-1 in the final game. Then, probably the most unrealistic result I've witnessed. Beat Manchester City in a rematch 7-1, with Pastore and Doumbia tearing them apart with incredible ease.

Got what I've wanted, time to rebuild the squad. Selling Gameiro, Kadlec and Cissokho and replacing them with 18 year olds.

i need a new striker, gomis is trash. lopez has 4 in 4, but his finishing is still a bit too terrible.
