Would love one of my strikers scoring reguarly, haha. Overall, I think Jagielka is leading scorer.
It does help but at the same time I've played Lallana & Cleverley on the wings as well as Valencia and I've never had a problem scoring no matter who's in the team.

I've been trying the same tactics with Rovers and I've not failed to score yet, got a 2-2 at Old Trafford and a 3-1 win at Man City in the Carling Cup.

Whats up with Cudicini as your main keeper? Or a back-up game?

Time to try a new file myself, Bayern Munich seems a very good pick. Robben and Ribery are just a class apart in 12. Ollic's mental and physical stats are just jaw-dropping, Neuer is Godly, and still got players like Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Muller, Gomez. Tymolshuck looks the perfect DMC, got a few neat prospects in Badstuber, Rafinha and Alaba.

Tricky to plot the team, though.

Neuer

Rafinha
(want Hummels/Howedes)
Badstuber/Boateng
Lahm

(want Busquets)
Tymoschuk

Schweinsteiger/Kroos

Robben/Muller/Ribery

(wouldnt mind Cavani/Dzeko)
Gomez/Ollic

Undecided upon 4-5-1 and 4-2-3-1. Attacking fullbacks to go with the defensive midfielder would be ideal. Very tricky to incorporate Gomez's strengths into a tactic that relies on two inside forwards, however. Whereas he has the assistance with an AMC (Muller). The selection of CBs is a mixed bag. Boateng has very good pace, Badstuber and van Buyten aren't too bad. But Hummels/Howedes is just ideal.

Final one would be, methodical and a possession game, or pressure and a fast attack. Former has a chance of no CCCs in a game, and the other has the chance of getting destroyed defensively. New defenders, and I'd feel confident with a out and out attack.

De Gea was wank the first few games, let two in at Stoke that were both his fault. I didn't have faith in Lindegaard either so I looked about for another keeper and saw he was one of many players recommended by the scouts, not highly and he was cheap so I took a punt and never looked back. Dude let in one goal in about 10 games. I can highly recommend him. The only problem is that his agent insisted on a 12 month extension after playing 20 games, which he's done now but I never expected him too. He'll be on 50 by the end of the season when I've bought the game.

Also Lallana is a fucking beast for Ł2.5m, just look at his stats on the previous page.

at signing Cudicini. You could've gotten alot better. Adler or Lloris especially.

Also @ Desecrated, forget signing Busquets as he costs a fuckload if Barca do part with hi, get Fernandinho from Shakhtar or Vukojevic from Dynamo Kiev. Both beastly DM's, Vukojevic is much like Tymoschuck and Fernandinho is a brilliant Box to Box midfielder.

Checked out Vukojevic, downside is the age. Very solid 4-6 year player, though. May go in for him. Has great finishing and long shots for a guy more commonly deep in the pitch. So could be a player with a lot of uses.

Fernandinho is a bit similar to Schweinsteiger. Could use him, but not too keen on rotating players. Feel it messes with form.

Matteo Ferrari, Daniel Jensen, Fernando Vega are all also freebies this year around. Not bad signings any of them for most mid level clubs.

I only had Ł4m left to spend so I was heavily restricted. I was looking at Rob Green but went for Carlo and I didn't regret it for a minute. He's my best buy value wise, also Lallana. Cissokho is godly though at left back. Got him for Ł12m and sold Evra for Ł20m. Deal!

Oh I wish I was as shrewd as some people on this game, I mostly go on recommended buys from my scouts. Anyone want to give me a crash course in a post in what to look for for players from varied positions?

Green rep doesn't mean anything, but you'll recieve it! haha

Comparisons with players in the same position is a good way to judge. I do that a lot, did it with Cissokho & Baines and Cissokho & Evra most recently before signing him. You can get in an indication from that as well as the usual way of looking at their attributes & stats.
