well Ive played FM2008 for quite while now but only yesterday I was able to get what I wanted: I won the Euro 2008 with Portugal. After qualifying for the Euro with ease I found myslef in a delicate group consisted of : Portugal , Romania, Russia and Austria.
I lost my 1st game 3-2 with Russia, won the 2nd 1-0 against Romania and drew 1-1 with Austria. I passed cause Romania had lost with me and Russia. QF against Switzerland I won 2-1 and the real shocker came in the Semi Final. I played against Spain and I won 4-2. After the first 30 mins I was winning 3-1. And in the Final I met Russia again and I won in extratime with a gola from Ronaldo 2-1. I was amazed that I was able to pull that off.

How good is Hamsik? I'm after a new DMC, but his strength's on 12 and it doesn't make me wanting to sign him any easier.

Biglia is quite good. Not a lot on the strength compartiment either, but quality player. He may be more of a MC though.

Hamsik is a quality DM, they don't all need to be really strong, he's got good tackling, marking and passing stats.

Or you could buy arguably the best DM in the game in Jean II Makoun. Absolute beast. I always go for him, except when I'm Man Utd coz of the fact they have enough mids.

I would go for Makoun. He costs only around 10m. Well he did for me and like Reney said. Hes a beast!

Finally got into my Manchester City season and its great. Only 8 games in but its awesome seriously. Sitting second but bet Arsenal at the emirates 2-1 and bet Chelsea 5-2 at home. Also bet Birmingham 6-2 away but my only defeat came at home to Blackburn were i missed two penalties and should have had another one

Anyway. I have signed so many players TBH. I said at the start i moved Jo there. Yeah its sort of cheating but still. He has actually moved . I started with 70m. I didn' sell a lot of players but the ones worth talking about were Steven Ireland for 4.1. Onuoha for 2.8. Didn't really want too sell him but he was unhappy and i don't need him that much. Etuhu for 4.7m to Ipswich. It was such a random bid. They made one for a youngster Ched Evans for 4 i rejected and they came in with this one. Logan as well for 1.7. I also let a lot of players got out on loan. Infact a lot of players i brought in i let go on loan. The players i bought are:

Ano . I don't know why just felt like going on a spending spree. Its worked anyway as i am now sitting top after a 1-1 draw with Bolton .

Most of the players i bought are youngsters anyway TBH and won't be in or even challenging the first team for a while
